Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (ICTC) for
HIV positive or negative clients who or whose health care provider
think they can be HIV positive. They are counselled and tested here
regarding their HIV positive or negative status. . This centre is
situated in front of OPD registration area in Govt. Medical College
Hospital. The services of one male and one female qualified counsellor
for counselling and information on AIDS in addition to laboratory
back up for HIV testing is also available. Centre opens on working
days only.
A much more important centre for treaing HIV positive and AIDS patients
known as "ART Centre" also exists in the hospital
