Publications Overview
Our staff members have made
great stride in the pursuit of academic excellence and research.
There are 156 research publications in the national journals and
12 in international journals during last three years.
Many research projects, which were aided by various national/international
agencies like WHO, CPCB Delhi and Science and Technology Department
are on going in the institution. A WHO funded project " Development
of an ideal system for segregation of Biomedical waste" at
Govt. Medical College Hospital has been recently implemented under
the guidance of CPCB Delhi and AIIMS Delhi. This project model is
for demonstration purpose for the institutions of North India.
Apart from this, several departments are bringing
out periodicals/publications. Several books have also been written
and published by the various faculty members. Dr. S.K. Gupta, Associate
Professor, Department of Medicine has written a book on MCQ on Neurology.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, Asstt. Professor, Department of Medicine has
written a excellent book on Management of Diabetes. Dr. Yashpal
Sharma has written three manuals i.e. Hospital waste management,
Fire management and Disaster management in the hospital and four
text books, one on Medical Gases Management in hospital and other
on Job functions, Book on Hospital Administration, Hospital Waste
Management.
