| The hospital
has ambulances, hearse vans, staff cars etc. for round the clock
service.
Two Ambulances and one hearse van are available in each shift.
The services of these ambulances are available at the government
rates depending upon the availability of ambulances/hearse vans.
The work load in the hospitals being too much so shifting of patients
from their residences is not done.
For the convenience of the patients and their attendants requiring
trolleys and wheel chairs in the hospital, separate place in wards,
OPDs and emergency has been created where sufficient quantity of
trollies and wheel chairs has been kept and the hospital attendants
provide wheelchair/trolley against security deposit. This security
deposit is refunded once the wheel chair/trolley is returned. These
trolley/wheel chair bays areas are under the overall supervision
of the nursing supervisors of these areas.
The hospital being too big and staff members very limited, so the
attendants have to take wheel chair/trollies for carrying their
patients themselves except in the emergency where the hospital attendants
help the attendants for shifting them to casualty.
